When Good Morning America announced that Katie Couric would "sub" in for GMA anchor Robin Roberts this week, the Today Show went into overdrive to respond. The reigning morning show teased that there would be a Today Show legend today (it turned out to be... Meredith Vieira) AND that Sarah Palin would co-host tomorrow.
This morning, Matt Lauer, Ann Curry, Al Roker and the whole Today Show gang chatted with Palin about the gig—and Lauer poked fun at Palin's infamous interview with Couric, "Are you reading some newspapers?" Oh, no he didn't!

Vieira told Palin, "Matt will deface your property, so don't bring anything of value. Ann hits the limoncello on a pretty regular basis, and if Al asks to let him ‘show you his neck of the woods,’ run." Of course, Palin had told Breitbart News, "I see this as a good opportunity to bring an independent, common-sense conservative perspective to NBC. We’re 'going rogue' and infiltrating some turf for a day."
As for Couric on Good Morning America, apparently her driver took her to... the Today Show studio?
