The latest macabre revelation to emerge from the endlessly gross "cannibal cop" case involves allegations of domestic cannibalism. As your parents probably told you at some point, when a man loves a woman very much, he expresses that love by developing an elaborate plan to eat her for dinner. At least, that appears to be what former NYPD officer Gilberto Valle was brought up to believe—according to newly released court papers, Valle chatted about dining on a woman who matched the description of his wife. You can almost hear the Hollywood biopic pitch meeting already: "It's like Silence of the Lambs meets The Lockhorns!"

Prosecutors say Valle gave a fellow online cannibal —supposedly a butcher in India—his wife's name, and discussed luring the woman to India to meet with his chatroom buddy, where they "planned" to feast on her. (Valle's attorneys argue that these alleged plans amount to nothing more than depraved fantasies.) The Daily News obtained copies of the court papers and reports:

“I can talk my girlfriend into going to India for a trip and then we will meet up,” Valle responds. The 28-year-old lawman, accused of plotting to kidnap, rape, “slow cook” and eat women, then mentions that his “girlfriend,” like his wife, is 25, 5-feet-7 and 140 pounds. Khan promises to “kill her” as humanely as possible. “It’s alright, you don’t have to worry about humane,” Valle replies.

And after Valle told his chatroom buddy his wife, Kathleen, was vegetarian, the fellow online cannibal reportedly told him, “Okay, then her meat quality will be slightly less." Everyone's a critic.
