Hey, being in a political dynasty apparently attracts other political dynasties! Chris Cox, grandson of Richard Nixon and son of (embattled) NY GOP chair Ed Cox, is running for a Congressional seat in Long Island and just picked up an endorsement from former Florida governor Jeb Bush. Bush said, "I believe Chris will bring creative, conservative and common-sense solutions to tackle the big issues of our day." Cox, who describes himself as a "pro-life, fiscal conservative," is engaged to Gristede's heiress Andrea Catsimatidis, who met Cox when she was 17 and he came to speak at her high school (he's about 11 years older).
