A 49-year-old man was killed in Brooklyn this morning after being struck by two cars while riding his bike. Investigators say the victim, who has been identified as Sunset Park resident Victor Lopez, was traveling southbound on New Utrecht Ave near Borough Park at around 5 a.m. this morning when he was struck by a Honda going northbound at the intersection of 58th Street.

Lopez was then struck by a second car, also a Honda, that was traveling westbound on 59th Street. Officers say he died when EMS workers arrived, and both drivers remained at the scene; the investigation is still ongoing.
