Well, this is some sick, disturbing shit. According to the NYPD, some sociopathic P.O.S. buried a puppy up to her neck in the snow and beat her with a shovel in the Bronx early this morning. Police say they received a 911 call shortly before 3 a.m. about a dog being punched and hit with a shovel. When officers arrived at the scene, outside 855 East 167th Street, they found the dog buried in the snow with only her head visible.
According to the NYPD, "the dog was removed out of the snow by the officers, who observed that the dog was very mistreated and had visible signs of abuse." Police say the dog is named Hennessy and is approximately 6 months old; officers brought it to the ASPCA in Manhattan for treatment.
An hour later after finding Hennessy, investigators arrested one Raul Cruz, 43, who was identified by witnesses as the person who beat her. He's been charged with aggravated cruelty to animals and torturing an animal.
