According to the News, Steelers fans don't feel much animosity in NYC, gathering at Polamalu-friendly bars, and speaking "with strange accents about their 'Stillers.'" Things sound a bit less fun for New Yorkers in Pittsburgh, where there isn't a bar in the city that plays anything but Steelers games. But for once, Mayor Bloomberg is trying to do his part to stir the pot: he tweeted yesterday, "Mayor Bloomberg & Pitt Mayor Ravenstahl to wager on #Jets #Steelers game. What should they bet? Tweet us ideas using #JetsBet." There's already been a lot of suggestions, but our favorite so far is: "jets win, pittsburgh has to pay edwards' court fees. steelers win, new york has to pay roethlisberger's court fees."
