It's not just Rex Ryan and the Jets players who are being respectful in the lead up to this Sunday's AFC Championship Game—even the fans are getting along for the most part. According to the News, Steelers fans don't feel much animosity in NYC, gathering at Polamalu-friendly bars, and speaking "with strange accents about their 'Stillers.'" Things sound a bit less fun for New Yorkers in Pittsburgh, where there isn't a bar in the city that plays anything but Steelers games. But for once, Mayor Bloomberg is trying to do his part to stir the pot: he tweeted yesterday, "Mayor Bloomberg & Pitt Mayor Ravenstahl to wager on #Jets #Steelers game. What should they bet? Tweet us ideas using #JetsBet." There's already been a lot of suggestions, but our favorite so far is: "jets win, pittsburgh has to pay edwards' court fees. steelers win, new york has to pay roethlisberger's court fees." What do you think the Mayor should bet?
