Ashley Dupre, better known as the hooker former governor Eliot Spizer enjoyed, survived her hot Playboy photo shoot (literally hot—she caught fire) and is the May cover subject. Daily Intel got an advance look at Dupre's interview:

She thinks Eliot Spitzer blew up her spot, not vice versa.

"Some people call me the girl who brought down the Governor of New York, but in reality he brought me down." Oh, well, honey, we all knew that.

After the Spitzer scandal news broke, she thought of two things: Silda, and her singing career.
"I watched my dreams of a singing career flash before my eyes. I saw the hurt in his wife's eyes. I felt as if I had jumped off a building. I couldn't breathe. I was dead."

Being a hooker in real life is not as much fun as Pretty Woman.
"No one says, 'Hey, when I grow up, I want to be an escort.' That line of work looks to be the easy way out, but it's not, because you're sacrificing your brain and your identity. It's emotionally damaging. [It's] definitely not like something in the movies."

And, yes, she does admit, "I love sex and I'm very good at it, but I'm saving that. That's for my future boyfriend from now on. And it will be fabulous."

In her latest "Ask Ashley" column for the Post, Dupre fielded questions about a boyfriend's masturbation, no strings-attached sex, and waiting to be engaged.
