Overnight, police arrested a teen for allegedly shooting 16-year-old Al-Taya Conyers in the head in Boerum Hill on Wednesday. Kendale Robinson, 18, was charged with murder. And apparently Robinson is friends with someone Conyers was fighting with.

According to the Post's sources, Robinson, "who has nine prior arrests for gun possession, robbery and drugs, is a friend of a woman who recently assaulted Conyers, sources said." Conyers had posted a threatening message directed at the women on Twitter, which resulted in Conyers being charged with haraassment.

Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said that the NYPD now looks at Twitter, Facebook and other social networking sites during investigations, telling the Wall Street Journal, "We have to. That's the way young people communicate these days so obviously we have to be aware of it, be sensitive to it and be proficient in obtaining this information." The WSJ adds that someone say Conyers bleeding from the head on Tuesday; she told him she was in a fight.
