Poor Anne Hathaway. Her ex-boyfriend Rafaello Follieri turned out to be a con man pretending to have ties to the Vatican (Follieri kept vestments in his office to perpetuate the illusion), and now the Post reports that her new boyfriend "acts like a 'thief.'" And the Post has photos!

According to a witness, her boyfriend "Adam Shulman and a pal were spotted yesterday walking off with a huge chunk of a Meatpacking District mural. The artwork featured an Alfred Hitchcock-like man in shades holding a sign that said 'Happy Mother's Day.'" The witness, Frank Ross, said that the pair "showed up with screwdrivers in hand" and unfastened the poster from a construction site barrier on Ninth Avenue near Little West 12th Street. Ross, who sent the Post photos, said, "One started unscrewing the mural from the top. Then the other helped by unscrewing the bottom... Once it was removed, it looked very heavy, but they took off like a ball of fire."

The mural is a piece by Mr. Brainwash, whose Icons Remix show in the Meatpacking District (415 West 13th Street) is reopening today at 3 p.m.—according to the Facebook page, "The first 200 people will be offered a limited edition Mother's Day print, signed and numbered by Mr Brainwash."
