Two men are being charged with attacking an imam on the subway at 3:25 a.m. yesterday morning. Albert Melendez and Eddie Crespo are being accused of approaching an unidentified man on the northbound A platform at Canal Street and asking him if he was a "camel jockey," calling him a terrorist and then pummeling him. The victim was treated by EMS and wasn't hospitalized. Crespo has been arraigned and charged with robbery as a hate crime and assault while Melendez is due in court momentarily.
