Since converting our URL to Linthamist.com nearly three weeks ago, we've found that sometimes there's just too much good Jeremy Lin news than can be fit into one day. Thus, we're proud to bring you our end-of-the-day Lin wrap-up linkstravaganza:

Sex And The Single Lin: In what has got to be the strangest Lin-related article we've seen yet, Dr. Ruth teaches us about sex through the prism of Jeremy Lin. Ruth starts off with two paragraphs recapping the story of Lin, and then tries to tie everything together: "But if your sex life isn’t all that hot, then there is a lot to learn from the basketball court that’s applicable to your bedroom, living room, or kitchen floor!"

Stern's Fascination: There's just something about Jeremy Lin that NBA Commissioner David Stern can't put his finger on. "I haven't done a computation, but it's fair to say that no player has created the interest and the frenzy in this short period of time, in any sport, that I'm aware of like Jeremy Lin has," Stern said Thursday. "It's fascinating." The fascination might very well have something to do with the burgeoning Jeremy Lin economy, which continues to grow by leaps and bounds.

James Franco's Alum Love: Noted James Franco historian James Franco sent some Twitter love to fellow Palo Alto High School alum Jeremy Lin today. He tweeted, "GO LIN. GO PALY!" with a link to a photo of Lin with Spike Lee before last night's game in Miami. Perhaps this is part of a new sports-themed reality series on James Franco starring James Franco that James Franco is putting together in his spare time off from being James Franco.

Shaq On Linapporpriateness: The Wall Street Journal filled Shaq in on all the Lin controversies of the last week, including Fox Sports columnist Jason Whitlock's insensitive tweet. “Whoa, ‘two inches of pain,’ well there ain’t really a lot of room to say he was talking about something else,” said Shaq when he was read the tweet. “To me, I am a comedian, I like to laugh. That’s funny to me. To some people it’s not funny…” What would Shaq say if someone tweeted something like that about him? “A lot of times people say crazy stuff to me and my reply to them is, ‘Yo mama,’” he noted.

Lin Takes Brooklyn By Storm: In that Sports Illustrated cover story from this week, there were a few details that were glossed over—including the fact that Lin was rejected from Peter Luger Steak House. Instead he got a magical Vanilla milkshake at Brooklyn Bowl: "Told that the steak house was full, Lin and Blakeney hailed a livery cab and repaired to their original destination, the (less exclusive) Brooklyn Bowl," SI wrote.

Next Up: Lin plays tonight in the Rising Stars Challenge All-Star game along with fellow Knick Landry Fields, as well as Blake Griffin, Ricky Rubio and John Wall. The Knicks' next game is at home on Wednesday against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
