Finally: Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez has finally found a place where Cameron Diaz can feed him some popcorn in privacy! The Wall Street Journal reports that Rodriguez is buying a a full-floor, five bedroom unit at the Rushmore condo development on Riverside Boulevard at 64th Street (basically south of Trumpistan), "Brokers confirmed that the sale price was between $5.5 and $6 million for the unit on the 35th floor but said a contract had not yet been drafted."

When Rodriguez first joined the Yankees in 2004, he rented in Midtown East. He bought, then sold a Park Avenue apartment. He was seen leaving Madonna's Central Park West apartment during their fling in 2008 and is currently renting at 15 Central Park West. He went house hunting with old girlfriend Kate Hudson and has been seen house hunting with current girlfriend Diaz. Robin Williams is currently renting at the Rushmore, where a typo has proved very very expensive.

A-Rod has two daughters with ex-wife Cynthia Rodriguez—the building has a Kidville children's playroom not to mention an high-end gym. Developer Extell said, "We are thrilled to have Alex and his family buying at the Rushmore. He loved the building, the park and the water views, but we think that the clincher was the baseball field outside the front door." Oh, the fenced-off baseball fields?
