A 76-year-old man was found dead with burn wounds on his face in the Bronx last night. According to police, they responded to a 911 call about a fight when they found the victim, who hasn't been identified yet, dead inside the bedroom of his apartment on Noble Ave. in Parkchester about 11:15 p.m. The death has been ruled a homicide, and the investigation is ongoing.
Police took a 43-year-old man—whom the Daily News and Post identify as the victim's younger live-in boyfriend—into custody for questioning early this morning.
