A 6-month-old baby died after police found the child unconscious inside a Brooklyn home overnight, according to the NYPD.

Officers responded around 12 a.m. Wednesday to a 911 call about an unresponsive baby at a home near Flatlands Avenue and East 99th Street in Canarsie, police said. When they arrived, they found the infant unconscious and unresponsive.
