A boy died from injuries he suffered from a Sunday car crash, and his stepfather will face upgraded charges.
Anthony Pollydore had been initially charged with aggravated vehicular assault, driving while intoxicated, and vehicular assault, but now that Dylan Perry has died, Pollydore will likely face tougher charges.
Pollydore had been driving on Eastern Parkway at 8 a.m. when, after hitting a median and fishtailing, he barreled into a pole at Dean Street. Stepsons Dylan and Alex Perry, 12, were injured, as was his son Kyle, 5. None of the children were wearing seatbelts; the n, "The youngest child was thrown into the front of the car but 'didn't have any injuries, which is a miracle,' a source said. The 12-year-old had minor injuries to his leg."
Pollydore, who has other previous DWI convictions, blew a 0.094 for his blood alcohol, over the limit of 0.08.
