In this afternoon's opening game, Manhattan defeated the Florida, 75-60. Luis Flores, lead the number 12 seed Jaspers with 26 points. Forward Dave Holmes added a double-double with 12 points and 12 assists. Manhattan will take on the winner of the Wake Forest/Virginia Commonwealth game.
