2006_11_snetslogo.jpg-Nets 112, 76ers 107: Vince Carter scored a season-high 41 points as the Nets started a new streak by winning two straight games after losing six consecutive contests. Jason Kidd came up a rebound and a point short of another triple double. With Richard Jefferson healthy (he scored 24 points and doesn't seem to be showing lingering effects of his sprained ankle), there's no reason the Nets can't go on a mini-tear in the sluggish Eastern Conference.
-Raptors 103, Knicks 100: Eddy Curry has to be wondering what he needs to do for the Knicks to win. On Saturday, Curry scored 27 -- he even added 12 rebounds -- and the Knicks still lost at home, where they're 1-7 this season. This recent stretch is the best Curry's looked with the Knicks, but fans won't care unless the club starts winning.
-Devils 4, Flyers 3: Zach Parise and Brian Gionte scored during the shootout for the Devils, who have won two straight. The Devils wouldn't have gotten there if not for a goal with 2:12 remaining in the third period.
-Islanders 5, Penguins 3: It seems like everyone's beating the Penguins these days, but the Islanders will take the five-goal outburst, including two each from Viktor Kozlov and Mike Sillinger.
