Columbia senior Jonah Reider, who launched "restaurant" Pith in his dorm kitchen last year, has a 1K+-person long waiting list for his dinners now, helped in no small part by his sudden rise to celebrity (Editor's Note: Cheflebrity?). But if you've been dying to sample his stuff, now's your chance—Reider's cooking up small plates at a special beer feast at the Bronx Brewery.

Reider's teaming up with the brewery, Westside Market and Union Food Labs to whip up "some amazing informal snacks and custom-casked beers" for an event on February 20th, according to a press release, with a $50 ticket getting you access to unlimited bites and brews. The brewery itself will transform its space using audio-visual equipment, with sound and light bouncing off the fermentation tanks.

Reider, who has since moved Pith to his apartment off-campus, has said he'd like to open his own venue that'd combine music and food in some way, so this is a good start. The event kicks off at 7:30 p.m., and you can purchase a ticket online.

If you can't make it up to the Bronx, Reider's teaming up with the American Irish Historical Society on February 26th for a collaborative saloon event that where "audience members walk, listen, look and explore freely while thematically pairing food stations throughout the turn-of-the-century mansion." Those tickets are $60 and can be purchased online.
