Despite their Goods intentions (see what we did there?) the arts collective 3rd Ward's parked truck eatery in Williamsburg, Goods, didn't quite cut it and only made it one summer. But as sad as that is, it might have turned out for the best since—whoa—it now appears the truck and its land have been taken over by popular nearby Mexican eatery Mesa Coyoacan. Why is it not April yet?

DNAinfo reports that the Mesa crew bought the space—and its awesome 25-foot 1946 Spartan trailer—last August from 3rd Ward ("They weren't restaurant people," co-owner Jorge Boetto said, "They were architects and artists.") and hope to reopen it in April as Zona Rosa. When it hits the hood they would like to "include table service, margaritas, draft beer and long hours—ideally from 8 a.m. to 4 or 5 a.m., to catch L train commuters and late-night revelers." Considering the runaway success of the 24-hour Bagel Smith across the street and at their own restaurant, they shouldn't have trouble packing them in.

Still, before the mini-Mesa—which will have "an all-organic, simpler version of their current restaurant's menu"—opens the team needs to install a few essentials though. Like running water and bathrooms. And yes, those would be useful.
