Not going to be chowing down on Fried Cheesecake Bombs and fois gras doughnuts at this weekend's Great GoogaMooga gorgefest? No need to go hungry; this weekend is also the 39th Annual Ninth Avenue International Food Festival!

Running along Ninth Ave from 42nd to 57th Streets, the festival features over two hundred vendors hawking foods from countries like Poland, Spain, Greece, Japan and Thailand—participating restaurants include Empanada Mama, Hall Berlin Express, Bossa Nova Brazil and Basera Indian Bistro—as well as handcrafted jewelry, clothing and other goods. There will also be children's activities and live international music and dance performances (though Hall & Oates will not be in attendance,)

Not only will the festival benefit your stomach, but proceeds from the event will help support community programs, local scholarships and activities for seniors and children. Check out the Ninth International Association's website for a full list of merchants and events.

And if that's not enough grub to sate you, you can always swing by today's Smorgasburg in Brooklyn for some post-fest feasting and record shopping!
