We just celebrated Pancake Day, but now a superior breakfast item has its big day coming up: Waffle Day is happening on March 25th! And we're already fasting in anticipation. But you know what, it's total b.s. that there is an entire franchise house dedicated to pancakes here, and not one franchise house dedicated to waffles. Today we called Waffle House Headquarters to see if anything is being done to remedy this.
We asked the woman at the other end of the line if they had any plans on opening up a Waffle House location in New York City before the 25th, and man, what teases! We were told a very promising "possibly" followed by a much less promising, "I wouldn't say 'never,' who knows what will happen in 50 years." Should we start a hashtag campaign on Twitter or something?
