At the time, a brave young man named Seth tried them out, only to bite into a nearly frozen morsel coated in an unidentifiable gooey substance. But as far as ideas go, on a scale of 0 to Homer Simpson Fantasy Food, a pancake ball with sausage inside rates pretty high up there. To that end, the same determined young man recently set out to find a better version of the chain's creation; he challenged Joe Dobias of the East Village restaurant JoeDoe to build a better Meat Munchkin.
