Before they rock Late Night with Jimmy Fallon tonight, Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks will be killing time in Williamsburg to generate hype for their new, limited edition ice cream flavor (as well as, we suppose, their new album). In what sounds like a painfully awkward appearance, Malkmus and his band will show up at 4 p.m. at Momofuku Milk Bar (382 Metropolitan Ave, Brooklyn) to "sign posters and enjoy some ice cream with fans." Given the Milk Bar's tiny dimensions, we're envisioning a line of frostbitten hipsters shivering outside in the Polar Vortex for hours awaiting their opportunity to be condescended to by His Malkmus. Totally worth it.

According to Matador Records, which is releasing the album, the ice cream flavor, "Cinnamon and Lesbians”, is inspired by the eponymous track off the Jicks' superbly titled new album Wig Out At Jagbags. The flavor is available for one week only. And here's the video for the song, which stars the Jicks' newest drummer Jake Morris, who previously played percussion for The Joggers, a band you should know and cherish now and forever.

If you miss their swing through NYC this time, Malkmus & The Jicks will be back at the end of February for two nights at the Bowery Ballroom and Music Hall of Williamsburg.
