It's that magic hour... when our brain drifts to thoughts of cooling down with a nice Lime-A-Rita or melting into some cheap booze. It's hot out there, and we're seeking out some happy hour spots to wile away the time as a few degrees shed off the outdoor temps.
Verde on Smith in Cobble Hill Tweeted: "Take a break from the heatwave and come in and enjoy a $3 Peroni tonight at happy hour."
Spina Restaurant on Avenue B in the East Village has $3 Drafts, $5 Meatballs, $5 Mussels & discounted wines by the glass from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
Maya on the Upper East Side Tweeted: "1st day of Summer! We'll be cooling down tonight with $6 margaritas during happyhour from 5-7pm. Heat wave!!"
Schiller's on the Lower East Side asks, "What has oysters, booze, and is air conditioned all over? Us. Half priced bar drinks from now to 7 p.m."
