Prepare to have your childhood memories blown (or make others feel old by asking what we're talking about): Soleil Moon Frye, the woman (yes, woman) formerly known as Punky Brewster is back, as the host of a "mommy-centric" video cooking blog called Her Say. Gone are the pigtails of yesteryear, exchanged for glossy long locks and tips on cooking with Kraft products like Jell-O, Chips Ahoy! and Macaroni & Cheese. Oh, how times have changed.
Moon Frye, who has made a mildly successful adult career for herself as a "mommy blogger," (check out her thoughts on child-rearing here) and author (her parenting book, "Happy Chaos: From Punky to Parenting and My Perfectly Imperfect Adventures in Between" is due this summer), was tapped by Kraft to host the series of two to four minute webisodes, which promise "your daily fix of everything that matters to you." And 40 of the 72 planned episodes will include Moon Frye shilling for Kraft brands. Get ready for some Very Special Episodes about Jell-O, you guys.
Fun fact: In the 1990s, Moon Frye dated Mark Wahlberg, a union which sadly did not last. But we'll always remember her (and Brandon!) best for moments like this:
