You know what's hard? Deciding what to cook. Especially when you're in the middle of the grocery store, overwhelmed by three dozen kinds of artisanal granola. This is the point where Gojee, a new food porn-heavy recipe website, steps in.

The concept of the site is simple: sign up for an account and start browsing through the very prettily photographed recipes by ingredient. While you're cruising, you have the option to "have," "crave" or "dislike" an ingredient, which Gojee then files away and uses to automatically tailor more recipes to your specific tastes. "We were eating fried chicken from 'Piece of Chicken' for the third time in two weeks and we realized, we actually couldn't remember exactly how many times we've eaten there," founders Michael Lavalle and Tian He told us. "It got us thinking that there must be a better way to keep track of what we eat and use that data to improve the cooking and eating experience."

The recipes are culled from dozens of food bloggers, including local heavy hitters Food 52, Big Girls Small Kitchen and Not Eating Out In New York. The other selling point for Gojee is their partnership with D'Agostinos—users can link their reward card to the site and it will automatically update your recipes according to what you buy at the store. It's a useful little tool that's much friendlier than giant recipe databases—provided you can keep your eyes on the prize in the cereal aisle.
