Lobster Roll from Luke's Lobster

Taste of 7th: East 7th Street between 1st Avenue and Avenue A has certainly come a long way in the past few years, becoming the center of all things delicious in the East Village. On Saturday and Sunday, Scoop St is throwing down with the "Taste of 7th Street." By buying one $18 ticket, you'll be able to taste one arepa from Caracas, one small lobster roll from Luke's Lobster, one small sandwich from Porchetta, two Butter Lane cupcakes and a smoothie from Xoom, all at a total discount of 50%. The ticket also gets you $1 off beers at Jimmys No. 43, Burp Castle and Standings Bar. It's a pretty sweet deal. 377 tickets have been sold so far, and the last day to buy tickets is this Thursday!
Tien Mao/Gothamist

BBQ: The Big Apple BBQ Block Party is back! Though it's not happening until June, FastPasses are on sale now, and are going fast. For $125, the FastPass gets you a $100 credit on food and beverages and gives you access to express lines, and it is most definitely worth the investment. Otherwise, food is $8 a plate. Whichever payment plan you decide on, you might want to start training your stomach now. You don't want to wimp out after your first rib on the big day.

Dogfish Head Brewery is teaming up with some Italian brewers, Joe Bastianich and Mario Batali to open up a rooftop brewery and pub. Located at 200 5th Ave, the first floor will house Eataly, an Italian foods market, and multiple restaurants. The rooftop bar will have a copper-clad brewing system, and the four brewers will work together to craft Eataly's house beers (the first of which is an "English Mild fermented with Italian chestnut powder"). You can read more about it on the Dogfish Head website. We're just going to idly wait outside 200 5th Avenue until summer. [Via Grub Street]
