At the end of last year we took a food and drink tour of Bedford-Stuyvesant, and in what will be an ongoing series of exploring the city's neighborhoods, we've now given the same treatment to South Slope. Click through the explore...

BEERTABLE

The basics: Tiny space, extraordinary selection of beer, wonky and knowledgeable staff. This place is a passion project for the owners, which shines through. They offer a small but tasty menu, and ever rotating selection of both domestic and international beers by the bottle and on draft.

Fun fact: The owner recently opened an outpost in Grand Central Terminal.

Pro tip: if you time it right the brunch is often less crowded than the evenings.

Beertable is located at 427B 7th Avenue, between 14th and 15th, Brooklyn.
