Various Cocktails, Prices

What is it? Rouge Tomate always has a great selection of seasonal cocktails. This year they tell us they have a few new ones in the works, including "an interesting corn-based colada, Chicha Morada, made with house made red-corn wine infused with black spices, such as cloves and cardamom, and a splash of pineapple infused Pisco." They'll also have a "refreshing Summer Corn Water with tomato infused tequila, and a Tomato Water Mary, made with dried and fresh tomatoes, horseradish infused vodka, and celery bitters."

There's also the ol' standby: the Mint Julep, which is served in a proper pewter Julep cup and garnished with a generous bouquet of organic mint. Are you drinking it, or just burying your face in it and savoring the aroma? That's your business.

Where is it? Rouge Tomate, 14 East 60th Street in Manhattan.
