Pinkberry may have dealt an irredeemable blow to its fans when it failed to open its Front Street outpost in October like it said it would, but there is a happy ending to the tale: Though the beloved froyo chain is officially opening its doors tomorrow, Pinkberry addicts can get their fix tonight, for free, from 5 to 9 p.m. Apropos of nothing, there will also be face painting.
As of this writing, workers are busy putting finishing touches on the new 117 Front Street location. Get a good look at it now, because in a scant few hours it will be overrun with rabid mobs of pretend-broke college students and the same leeching weirdos who lose their shit over XXL State Farm t-shirts at the fair. Let's be real: Are you seriously going to wear that crummy shirt? Do you REALLY need all those chip clips?
Anyway, the store's director of operations Michael Warren tells us small scoops of original, mango, salty caramel, chocolate hazelnut, pomegranate and key lime flavors will be available when the doors swing open at 5, so you should probably just drop what you're doing and race over there now.
