Over the hectic holiday season, Danny Bowien reopened his LES hit Mission Chinese, moving to a new, vermin-free spot on East Broadway. Gone are the dragon and ceiling chair adornments of the NYC original, but they've been offset by a much larger dining area, which should help with the lines. The restaurant does not accept reservations.

The menu's gotten an update as well, including two prix fixe menus at $69 or $99 for a Best Of sampling of what Bowien has on offer. Speaking of which, he's brought back some of the big crowd pleasures from the previous incarnation, including the Kung Pao Pastrami with home fries and peanuts.

Early word says the Chongqing Chicken Wings, which are fried in a beef tripe batter, are not to be missed; same with a bowl of Chewy Green Tea Noodles, which should help kill the burn after all those chilies.
