With Christmas/National Movie-And-Chinese-Food Day on the horizon, you may not find it prudent to prematurely feed yourself inhuman quantities of food and alcohol. But the stomach must consume every day, not just on Saturdays and special eating holidays. Here's where to feast this week:

On Monday, head to Racines NY in Tribeca for the Parisian wine bar/restaurant's new L'Apero happy hour deal. From 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., you can score Northeast and Northwest oysters for $9 per half dozen, along with $8 glasses of high-end organic wines from the likes of Chateau Lapuyade and Domaine Emmanuel Barou. Happy hour runs Monday through Saturday.

Also on Monday, Sweetwater Social in Greenwich Village is throwing an Ugly Sweater Party in connection with their 1st Annual Holiday Toy Drive. Show up with a packaged toy to donate to Toys for Tots and score a free drink. The party's free to attend, and you can make a reservation through the venue.

And on Tuesday, Traif in Williamsburg will kick off its Jewish-Chinese Christmas menu, with dishes like cockles with fermented Chinese black bean sauce, lemon chicken-style fried quail, and General Tso's-style sweetbreads on tap. These specialty items will be available on December 23rd and 24th, as well as on December 26th through the 28th; you can make a reservation through the restaurant.
