It's so beautiful outside this weekend that you'd be better off throwing your computer and phone out the window and moving into a shack by a pond somewhere (provided your mother is nearby to bring you food like a REAL Transcendentalist). But, here you are, reading the Internet. Sad for you, good for those of us who survive off your backlit bloodlust. Anyway! Here's where to eat this week:

On Monday, The Clam in the West Village will launch its new "Happy as a Clam" hour, where you can score food and drink deals in their outdoor space on weekdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. In addition to $25 carafes of wine and $4 Narragansett Lagers, deals include 1/2 prices oysters, $3 clam fritters and gem lettuce raps, baked Maryland crab and spinach dip $14, and $30 punch bottles of horchata punch, cucumber coolers, and "tipsy" bourbon-spiked Palmers.

Head to Tex-Mex haven Javelina in Union Square on Tuesday to help out devastated East Village spot Pommes Frites, which was destroyed in last month's tragic building explosion. The restaurant will be donating all proceeds from sales of its Bob Armstrong dip, made with yellow or white queso, guacamole, ground beef, pico de gallo and sour cream.

On Wednesday, Huertas in the East Village is hosting their first Spanish feast in honor of their first birthday. A Catalan tradition, the Calçotada is $200 smorgasbord featuring roasted spring onions or calçots, a roasted leg of lamb, housemade Catalan-style butifarra sausage, and a tortilla, all paired with Rosé Cava wine. Huertas will be hosting these feasts on Wednesdays and Sundays; you can make a reservation for 4 to 6 people online or by calling the restaurant.

And on Thursday, the Brooklyn Brewery will host its first Dinner Party Series installment of the season at Humboldt & Jackson in East Williamsburg. This year's theme is BLAST! From the Past, with foods focusing on New York City’s culinary history—Thursday's kickoff will focus on the foods Dutch settlers ate in Nieuw Amsterdam. A $65 ticket gets you dishes like smoked salt pork, venison tartare and clams, all paired with rare ales from the Brooklyn brewery collection. The dinner begins at 6:30 p.m., and you can purchase your ticket online.
