Troubled Greenpoint bar and venue Coco66 is now home to a new restaurant, helmed by the co-owner of the everlastingly sexy Indochine.
Coco66, which shuttered in 2011 after suffering through raids and liquor license woes, reopened its bar and music venue portion last March. And on Wednesday it got a full-service bistro focusing on local food, with Fat Radish veteran Joe Capozzi whipping up dishes like steamed clams and pork chops, along with a bar menu that includes $5 bacon sliders..
Hopefully the NYPD won't pour anyone's cocktails down the drain this time.
