Seems like you can hardly walk down the street these days without being accosted by free food out of a hole in a truck. Following in the footsteps of Swamp People, Air France, and Game of Thrones, "The Most Interesting Man In The World"-touting beer brand Dos Equis has launched a new taco truck, called, intriguingly, "Feast of the Brave." What's on the menu? Oh, bugs and brains.

Oh, right: ostrich, cow tongue, veal brain, and cricket are the sole taco-filling offerings on the truck, which is running from today until May 7th. Chef Domingo Garza and the Dos Equis crew are tooling around Soho, Union Square, Williamsburg and more with the noble cause of "contributing to people's Cinco de Mayo celebrations," because cricket tacos are inextricably linked to the Battle of Puebla? Reviews of the truck from early tasters today were mixed—The Food Randomist described the veal brains as "not awe-inspiring," though LookyTasty seemed to like them just fine (We'll let you check out that picture and judge for yourself.) To find out where you can grab a hold of some pasty-looking brains, follow the truck on Facebook or on Twitter @FeastOfTheBrave.
