Franny's, the beloved Flatbush Avenue pizzeria that presumably pays its interns, reopened in its new, larger space yesterday after an agonizing 14-day hiatus. The new spot, located at 348 Flatbush Avenue in what used to be a Blockbuster, now boasts a whopping 100 seats (versus 32), two wood burning ovens and an expanded menu. More thrilling still, New Franny's now accepts reservations of eight or more and will reportedly begin offering lunch, a wider take-out selection and eventually, DELIVERY.

The former Franny's space—just down the road at 295 Flatbush—is currently shuttered, but happily, that won't be the case for long. Owners Francine Stephens and Andrew Feinberg plan this summer to open an eatery called Marco's, which Grub Street reports will serve "Southern Italian" fare. Between that and the forthcoming Shake Shack, you may as well just throw out all your non-elastic pants now.
