In this modern golden age of TV one thing is for certain: where HBO goes, FX is bound to follow. So of course a few weeks after HBO and Ommegang announced they've got Game of Thrones beer coming soon, Stone Brewing Company announced its first collaboration beer of 2013 is an homage to It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia: Dayman Coffee IPA.
The new brew is a collaboration between the California-based brewery, Illinois-based Two Brothers Brewing Co. and Chicago-based Aleman (a brewing collective that first made the beer while winning the 2012 Iron Brew homebrewing competition—which also makes a Nightman brew, natch). Greg Koch, the CEO of Stone, was a judge at the Iron Brew which is how the partnership began.
The beer should be rolling out in March—while it may give a buzz, hopefully it won't be a paint-huffing one:
