It's all about cider, cheese, and cocktails this week—which means it's about to be the best week ever. Here are five food events to keep you happily sated (and a tad tipsy) until the blessed weekend returns once more.

NoMad/Korea Town kitchens L'Amico and The Vine are pooling their resources in the name of fermented fruit with their Monday night installment of Meet the Craftsmen, a series that brings local growers and purveyors to town for an educational dinnertime hang. This week, Dan Pucci of Wassail will be on-hand, and exclusive pours from Greenpoint Cider, Descendant Cider and Downeast Cider House will be served alongside bites from Laurent Tourondel. Tickets to the bubbly event are $15 and will be available at the door.

Why sip cider alone when you can have cider and cheese?? The Brooklyn Kitchen will open its doors Wednesday for a night that pairs Parish Hill Creamery cheese with cider drinks from Shacksbury. Artisan cheesemaker Peter Dixon will be offering plenty of raw, handmade varieties, while David Dolginow uncorks bottles of cider sourced from foraged apples. It doesn't get any better than these simple, farm-fresh pleasures!

Also on Wednesday, the Bowery's new Alchemist's Kitchen will bring award-winning cocktail master Greg Seider in to discuss what's being called a "ground up, culinary inspired interactive masterclass to crafting cocktails." Seider will emphasize ways to use an entire plant, front root to stem to petal, in each cocktail, and will be utilizing plenty of tea in addition to strong spirits. Tickets for the classes (there are 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. options) are on sale here and you can find more info on Facebook.

Finally, extra-spicy Sichuanese spot MáLà Project has rolled out a new lunch program, and it's running all week long. Specializing in Chinese "dry pot" dishes that come take the form of spicy salads, the East Village restaurant will let you choose from over 65 different ingredients as you compose a DIY bowl of midday happiness. You want spicy beef tenderloin, bok choy, and shiitake? You want konjac noodles, fresh ginger, and tofu? It's all waiting for you.
