It is a good time for tequila fans in Manhattan. In addition to the tequila bar at Union Square newcomer Tortaria, this month brings the world another Top Chef-helmed restaurant: executive chef Angelo Sosa's Añejo Tequileria in Hell's Kitchen.

On hand in the cozy corner restaurant are a well-curated selection of tequilas [PDF] that are chosen partially for how they pair with Sosa's fare (which in turn is designed with drinks in mind). That menu, below, includes three types of guac (and a guac flight), a series of $6-$14 small plates that includes shrimp ceviche, corn dumplings and braised queso fresco as well as tamales, the standard tacos and sides. Like Sosa's other restaurant, Social Eatz, the food here is priced to sell to TV-loving foodies.

As for the decor? It is a simple brick and wood affair, which seems to suit the place just fine. The major design element is a giant Day of the Dead mural that adorns the back wall. And there is nothing wrong with that.
