It’s Friday morning in New York City where humpback whales were spotted basking in Brooklyn waters last week.
A research team from the Wildlife Conservation Society found the whales near Coney Island and worked to identify them and record their behavior for research. What a sight!

- McDonald’s latest gimmick is more complicated than a purple Grimace shake. It involves a London-based skateboard company and incorporates the brand’s references in various media.
- Other people have used the name and likeness of the cannabis apparel and lifestyle brand “Budega,” and now the creator is stuck trying to figure out how to reclaim it and whether it's worth it to do so.
- Between Taylor Swift and Beyonce’s concerts and the Barbie movie takeover, the girls are spending a lot of money this summer.
