The Downtown Brooklyn home of the city's most notorious frozen cocktails and mediocre smoked meats allegedly likes to peep on its employees as they change into their uniforms. Staffers at Dallas BBQ claim that managers have set up illegal video cameras to record the employee locker room, according to the Post. They've filed a class-action lawsuit against the chain, saying that managers regularly watched employees undress and didn't even bother covering it up.
For their part, mangers say the cameras are a necessity for "loss prevention," the industry term for employee or customer theft. The suit also takes the restaurant to task for allegedly not paying proper overtime wages and requiring all staff to contribute to a tip pool. Other branches of the chain have been sued in the past.
