The depressing sight of Shake Shack's skeleton in Madison Square Park should be somewhat offset with a sugar high provided by Momofuku Milk Bar, which will be operating a pop-up on the south side of the park. Beginning this Saturday, Christina Tosi's crew will be setting up a 100-square-foot shop where they'll sell some classic MB goodies like crack pie and compost cookies, plus some seasonal specials only available at the pop-up.

Frozen fingertips would do well to clutch a cup of cereal milk hot chocolate, a mix of the company's well-loved cereal milk with white hot chocolate. It's made with milk, cornflakes and brown sugar, plus a pinch of salt for balance. Lactose intolerants can try a hot apple cider with miso butterscotch, a rich, sweet-salty combo with a hit of apple.

Some seasonal cookie and truffle flavors won't debut at the brick-and-mortar shops until next week, but devotees of Tosi's sweets can get them earlier at the pop-up. Chocolate Malt and Dulce de Leche Truffles and the Peanut Butter Cookie will all be available starting Saturday when the pop-up opens at 10 a.m. until it closes at 8 p.m.
