The NYPD and the DEA have themselves a whole lotta pot on their hands this week—what to do with all that green? Most likely they'll do what they always do when they uncover the mind-awesoming cash crop (destroy it or leave it in an evidence locker to waste away) but if any enterprising officers happen to take some of the evidence home for recreational use they might want to head over to The Cereal Baker, which has a recipe for what seems to us might be the perfect munchie: Chocolate Covered Cheetos.
Not only do these salty-sweet nuggets solve the problem of Cheeto-fingers (though adding the problem of chocolate-fingers), they appear to be really easy to make! All you have to do is take a bag of Cheetos (though we suspect Cheez Doodles and their ilk would work fine too) and some chocolate (they recommend Baking Bark). Melt the chocolate, dip the Cheetos and—voila!—you've got yourself one mean munchie. The Japanese have had a pre-packaged versions of the snack—one with strawberry flavoring no less!—for ages.
Excuse us, we need to go do some shopping.
