Yeah, those crisp or crumpled dollar bills lining a tip jar or a bar table can be pretty tempting to reach in and snatch, especially when you're getting shorted inches on a foot long sandwich. Most people (though, not everyone) tend to resist that urge, since, you know, the money isn't theirs; but one MTA bus driver was reportedly so enraged by the cost of a Subway drink that he allegedly stole a dollar from the tip jar.

Cops say that Adel Elsayed, 50, an on-duty bus driver, was at a Subway on Rockaway Beach Boulevard in Queens yesterday when he got into an argument over the price of a drink with the employee ringing him up. So he allegedly reached into the jar, took a dollar out of it and walked out of the store.

Elsayed's since been arrested and charged with extremely petit larceny. And let that be a lesson to you: Do not mess with food service employees' tips.
