Long Island's oldest craft brewery has joined the ranks of bro-approved Buds and Nattys. Blue Point Brewing Company was sold to beer behemoth Anheuser-Busch, reports Newsday. The companies announced the deal today, with Anheuser-Busch chief executive Luis Edmond saying they hoped to "accelerate the growth of the Blue Point portfolio and expand to new markets, while preserving the heritage and innovation of the brands."

The is the second major American craft brewery to be bought by AB InBev. The company bought Chicago's Goose Island in 2011 and also owns international brews Stella, Leffe and Hoegaarden, among others.
