Brooklyn-based Ample Hills Creamery, one of our favorite ice cream shops in the city, has finally made the jump across the river—they've opened a new outpost at Gotham West Market in Hell's Kitchen.
DNAinfo reports that the new Ample Hills stall debuted on Thursday, and according to Facebook, they're offering up 12 flavors, along with milkshakes and sundaes. And the brand new shop comes with a brand new ice cream—the Manhattan spot exclusively serves Hell's Kitchen Sink, a combination of Guinness dark chocolate ice cream, spicy brownies, brown butter cookie dough and crumbled toffee bars.
Ample Hills opened a massive factory and shop in Gowanus last year, where they serve the delectable It Came From Gowanus flavor, along with standbys like Salted Crack Caramel and Sweet & Honey. And their original Prospect Heights shop underwent extensive renovations this year, but reopened yesterday, so we're just swimming in the good stuff. Note that it'll be a balmy 40 degrees or so tomorrow, so stop by for a scoop before we're plunged back into the tundra.
