If you're still broken up about all those Kashi frozen pizzas you had to throw out because they had plastic in them, here's a bit of good news. Tonight at the Slice Out Hunger fundraiser for City Harvest, you can get $1 slices of pizza and $4 beers from 6:30 to 10 p.m. And this isn't Papa John's we're talking about, people! Scott's Pizza Tours and The New York Pizza Project have joined forces to bring the creme de la creme of the NYC pizza world to this thing. Participating pizzerias include Di Fara, Grimaldi's, Arturo's, John's of Bleeker, Keste, Joe's, Artichoke, and more!
True, none of this could EVER take the place of Kashi Mediterranean Thin Crust Pizza, but we're just going to have to put on a brave face. Admission is free, and the location is Amity Hall, at 80 West 3rd Street.
