After a star-studded funeral yesterday that was livestreamed over the internet and watched by hundreds of thousands of people, Whitney Houston will be buried today in a much more private ceremony in Westfield, NJ. Houston will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery, the same place where her father, John Russell Houston, was interred in 2003. Of course, it isn't completely private: TMZ does have a "livestream" at the cemetery, although at least they're keeping enough of a distance that all one can see is a police car and a few trees.

Some fans couldn't be stopped from trying to get one last glimpse of the singer, who died on Feb. 11 at the age of 48. “To be here at her home-going is an honor and a blessing,” said Barbara Davis, who waited outside Wigham Funeral Home in Newark since 8:30 a.m. to see her gold hearse leave. The hearse finally left Newark just after 11:10 a.m. today and followed a black Chevy pick-up truck with a bed brimming with flowers.

According to CNN, a crowd gathered at the entrance of the cemetery as the hearse and procession arrived just before 11:45 a.m. According to The Star-Ledger, the driver of the hearse appeared to be crying as she played "I Will Always Love You," and fans threw flowers. Eva Aquino brought her 13- and 10-year-old granddaughters, who wore novelty t-shirts and buttons of Houston. “We came here and bought all these things of her to cherish the memories,” said 13-year-old Nalani Velez.
