It was bound to happen. Lüc Carl, Lady Gaga's big-haired, former bar tending, ex, has written a book. And with the publication of The Drunk Diet later this month he's gone and given a 1,500-word interview with Times. Life being short though, we figure you probably just want the highlights from a man once called "the king of Rivington Street." Because, yes, he does talk about Gaga. Briefly.

Though he says he is happy to talk about his VERY famous ex, Carl reacts to questions about her "with an increasingly tortured look." So, if you are looking for details, this is all the Grey Lady is offering:

“The truth is that she was a huge part of my life for a long time, longer than people realize,” Mr. Carl said after much prodding.
“Sometimes things don’t work out,” he added. “I was madly in love for a long time.”
“And, uh, I don’t know,” he continued. “I got nothing, dude, you know.”

Moving past Gaga, we should note that the current XM radio host's new book isn't actually a diet, though it does cover how he's lost lots of weight. Spoiler alert! The secret is running. A lot. "It’s such a high, but it’s a drug you have to earn," he says. Carl also says he is "the sexiest man in the world," so take his opinion with a few cups of salt.

Though at one point he was affiliated with the tri-level LES bar Ludlow Manor, he is no longer connected to the venture. "'My life is very volatile, man,' Mr. Carl said. He added that he thinks he had been used by the owners to get 'free press'" (they deny it).

Oh, yeah, and Carl's hair stylist is "the stylist for the cast of Chicago." And now you know!
