We see a lot of bad subway etiquette around here, so let's enjoy a reminder that New Yorkers are sometimes thoughtful and considerate human beings.
Recently we sent videographer Jeff Seal (who filmed discreetly from his iPhone) and the visibly pregnant AmyLove Herrera underground to see if anyone would offer her a seat on the subway. They shot for a couple of hours, both on overcrowded and not-as-crowded train cars—each one AmyLove entered, she was almost immediately offered a seat.
